Usage Rules for TaylorCountyTalk.com
This site is for the community of Taylor County to voice their opinions and knowledge regarding local issues and happenings.
When leaving a comment, what you put in the 'Name' section is up to you. You can use your real name, a pseudoname or leave it blank. If you leave it blank, the site will automatically use the word/name 'Anonymous'. If you decide to use your full name, I would require an email address for verification. Keep in mind that if you don't pick a unique pseudoname and allow the site to pick 'Anonymous' for you, then others will not be able to distinguish your comments from others. Except for if you use your full name, leaving your email address is completely optional. It is just for me to contact you regarding your postings on TCT off the site. At no time is your email address ever posted on the site or sold to 3rd parties or abused by me. The 'website' block is just for you to post your personal website or relevant site and is posted automatically on TCT. Most don't use it and is just there for you.
Now, to speak about comments left on TaylorCountyTalk. As a strong supporter and believer in the Second Amendment and the Bill of Rights, I am very liberal on what I will allow to be posted and I try very hard to keep an open mind when proofing comments. What I expect is respectful, adult dialogue without name calling. This site is not intended for private issues of citizens or to be used as an attack method for anyone's personal issues with another citizen and the posting of a private citizen's name or personal information is strictly prohibited and will result in a barring of the site. When posting or having dialogue regarding public officials or situations, all I ask is to not make accusations that are unfounded in such that you are just being hateful because you have some personal issue with them. Other than that, please post what you know and feel, and if you are unsure if you should post it and would feel more comfortable doing so, email me the comment before you post it. It is no problem or aggravation, but it is very, very seldom that I don't allow something.
Above all else, please RESPECT fellow bloggers.
